ICE RETENTION TIPS FROM THE MANUFACTURER:

To maximize ice retention and keep food below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, layer your cooler with ice and food. Always top with a layer of ice for best results. Using plenty of ice will help maintain colder temperatures and make the ice last longer. Keep the lid closed to trap cold air and keep hot air out. Pre-chill food and drinks before placing them in the cooler to extend their shelf life. It's also important to keep the cooler in the shade to prevent it from heating up too quickly in direct sunlight.

MOST EFFECTIVE ICE LAYOUTS:

When layering your cooler, start from the bottom with food, then add a layer of ice, followed by another layer of food, and top it off with ice. Always make ice your top layer. Freeze or pre-chill all food before placing it in the cooler and remember to surround and top it with ice.
